JPL have 3 of them teamed up with Shimano 10k's, they are the nuts 2.5tc's are all you need to launch a 3-4oz lead with bag or stocking yds - they look great to in matt finish

Happy new year to you all I would like to say one thing on this matter, i am a devoted carp angler and get a lot of pleasure in catching the same fish year after year as they grow from different venues, but i must confess that i am a good friend of Rick Stein and many years ago did have the pleasure in creating a dish using a 12lb carp. they are a real meaty fish and taste superb as long as they have been flushed for about 2-3 weeks in fresh(tap)water whilst alive, this clears out the mudy taste, salt skin and add some fennel and dill, butter insides with garlic cover with foil and roast for about and hour on a high heat 220-240c. FANTASTIC.

STC i have been using 3 Rages (2.5tc) this season paired up with the Shimano 10k, the are quality rods that allow you to feel the fish you are playing unlike 3+ tc's that are like using beachcasters !!!!!. unless you are intending to try and lob a 4oz lead and pva bag 100yds + i would forget it. i bought mine online and got a great deal on the 3 for £110 + posting. Thanks for the advice, thinning down as we speak, do have a barrow, normally use that as my cooking stand !!! all is well now, the continental is up and running superbly, should have got one in te first place !!!!
