well, the trip to loch ken was a disaster
we could'nt get away from edinburgh as early as we would have liked, then we managed to take a wrong turning in thornhill and put about 40mins onto the journey.
got to ken about 3.30 sat afternoon and the whole west bank was packed with fishers. i've never seen so many guys fishing in the one area of a loch before
we ended up having to go round the loch to the east side and there were already plenty of bodies on that side as well, found a spot away down at parton but was getting dark by this time so tackling up was a bit rushed in the fading light.
through the night there was only one run, but practically slept through it
the next morning was freezing and a bit misty but we stuck with it, trying popped up sardine and mackerel then onto jerked baits but alas no taker on either of those methods.
thanks to all for their input and info
we will however get down there again and have another go.
