  1. thanks budgie and your right, there was an older bloke called john so guess the're the same guys and thanks for the info kent trotter
  2. was that clive terry your on about budgie and does he still have anything to do with the wandle? i havnt been up that way for a while now but remember clive was kitting his shop out to help educate the local kids on the wandle and was setting up a club for the river... cant seem to see his name associated with anything?? and lost his number ...is he still involved and does anyone know if there are going to be any junior invites on the wandle in the future? does anyone know if there are any (other clubs) invites to fish the wandle (by this, i mean any club run section) planned for the future or do you have to be a member? i have alot of juniors that would love to be shown how to fish the river by seasoned anglers and seem to remember this was going to be a possability.? its great to hear that things are moving forward for the clean up, from fish stocking to trolley removals and well done to all involved... on another note, i dont agree with moving the fish from the common but how can you condem people for being human??? probably the E.A should have been on top of this ? mmmmm thats probably an argument that can go on forever and will have strong views either side..

    Mr Wiggly

very sad news .. danny gave up alot of time for others and my sympathy to Danny's family and friends....
  4. i already have my thoughts, but wondered what other peoples thoughts would be and how far they would differ from mine> my return to a sponsor (s) would be in my view, as much publicity as i could get them and at the moment the club has its own corporate paper following it around the matches and photos on walls of lots of tackle shops , aswell as photos and articles in other mags.... they would of course also get seen on websites.... when you go for these big important meetings to sort out the sponsorship ,which incidently have come to us!! Being a new club ,i thought it would be good to hear from people with their ideas or maybe they have already done this??? what would you do to secure the best deal and what would be your best deal?????
  5. you get a sponsor who wants to sponsor your club!!!!!!! what do you ask 4? bait sponsor tackle sponsor electrical company sponsor what would you ask 4 or expect for a year from any of these and what would you give back in return? My Webpage
