Hellp people, just wondering have any of fished at redwell fisheries. I am going there for the 1st time on Thursday fishing for carp, has anyone got and advice. Also no bollies are allowed and i dont think pellets are either? please help jamie

Depends what imfishing for. If i wanna catch carp or tench on ledger i would take me small carp chair, me carp bag (with all me tackle in) and me rod holdall. But if i was fishing on float or quiver tip i would take me box because of all my gear attaches to it.

I recently found out that a lake near to me has been stocked with a 1000-3000 chub 2 years ago. The lake already has some big carp in there (not many) some big perch and decent bream along with roach. Its not a brilliant lake but you could have a big day on there. Its also very big and deep. I want to target these chub on me new quiver tip, but what would the best way to go about this? thanks jamie

Make sure you have a wonder round your local lakes first just to get a feel of them again. I think its got past the time now where we can blame the conditions like the cold winter and that, theres no excuses anymore!!! lol

I had my first feeder session the other day after school. Didnt do very well. I think i had 1 bite, lol. I have also got 3 tips with my new rod and a new shimano reel full of 3lb line. This is approiate for the lakes im fishing on as im only fishing for tench bream and roach, but i dont no what my fishing stance should be like which way my rod should point or out???? please help

Sorry its taken me a while to get back to this. No exaggeration i go in my tackle shop at last 3 times a week because at the moment i have been going fishing everyday on the weekend and buying tackle within the week. I have full faith in my tackle shops ability but i just wanted to buy things that are sold in other shops because me mam dont no nout about the internet so i cant buy out over it becasue she doesnt trust it . So im paying silly prices like 80p a feeder in my tackle shop when on ebay i can pay a 10pounds at the most for 20. So im abit gutted about that so i just thought i would shop around thats why i wondered what other shops there were.

i have trouble getting to different tackle shops apart from my local one. I was wondering what well known shops sell fishing gear?? i know argos and lidl do, but what other ones are they?

How many tips do you get with it??? Also what are the different tips and what are they used for??? thanks jamie,

i have recently wanted to buy one but dont no how much they are. How much do you think i should pay for one. I dont want a fantastic one just one thst does the job and prefably under 20pounds, is theis possible, thanks jmie
