  1. Hi Guys, I recently broke my favourite rod and am looking to replace it. It was a Penn Venom Extreme 12'6 F/s. If anyone has one that they want to sell, please let me know. Thanks, Nick.
  2. Hi, Sorry its a bit (very late) but ive only just noticed your post. On the remote chance, do you still have the venom rods for sale? I broke mine recently and would like to replace it. Thanks, Nick.

    bournemouth ?

Anywhere along the bay should show Bass, Sole, Rays, Bream, Smoothies (probably a bit late by August as they are about now), Red Mullet, Gurnard and a possible Turbot. There used to be some marks more suited to certain fish but with the beach replenishment, its a bit of pot luck. Reasonable size bass about at the moment which should get bigger by August, some big Sole, chance of a 9lb plus ray and a Tope was landed recently from the beach. Bournemouth pier showing a lot of bass and small rays (3- 6lb)

Is it a Sky+ box? Ive had loads of problems with it including muted sound...a total power down usually sorts it out.
  8. RIP. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  9. There is a apparently a population of Black widows thought to be around Poole port. Also, the Wolf spider can inflict a painful bite along with Segestria florentina which is a large 6 eyed spider that can be found in walls around the south of England (got a lot outside of where I work). Genus Crustulina is the spider that you will find more than often in your shed, it looks very much like a black widow and is part of the same family, not sure if it can inflict a bite though.
  10. Great show....even got the missus watching it last night and after lots of moaning about watching it, she ended up enjoying it! Good mix of culture and fishing....wil be reconsidering where I go on hols in future!
  11. Never buy it due to lack of Sea Angling coverage.
  12. Never had a problem with LG. I think they are only one of 2 manufacturers of LCD and Plasma TVs, the rest are rebranded as their own. Want to get the Philips 1080p Ambilight 42" LCD but at £2k, I cant justify it...will wait til the price drops me thinks.
  13. Pout seem to have arrived on schedule in numbers around Christchurch, everything else seems to have buggered off on time too!! If anything, the fish arrived late this year but seemed a lot smaller but in bigger numbers compared to last year, then left right on schedule.
  14. We avoided the rain by sheltering under the Ladies toilets canopy...got a few strange loks from the Security guys with the 2 of us huddled up in a corner. Few guys were out last night and managed a few sole as the wind had dropped right off and there was no weed as a consequence.
  15. Ken, were you fishing on friday night? If so, you must have been to the right (facing out to sea) of me and my mate who turned up about 7:45pm. Stayed until 12:30am, had one bite all night resulting in a bass of 1lb! Had a load of weed which even my 14ft K2 could get over. The storm missed us but for safety's sake, we laid low for an hour in case!
