Most powerful fish?????????

What do you think the most powerful coarse fish is?

Obviously a 10lb carp is going to be more powerful than a minnow but pound for pound what do you think?

 

I'd go for one of my favourites and that would be a gudgeon.

Barbel for me, just like a big gudgeon really. powerful as a carp and as fast a turn of speed as a pike. great fish.

My choice would be Grayling

Burbot are incredibly powerful, great for livebaits as well, really durable.

It's got to be mullet!

 

(Jim Gibbinson has christianed them an honory coarse fish!)

 

I reckon that they are the ultimate coarse fish!
