No, Vince as expected died out, though we did got a lot of rain last week from Vince's remnants.

: Stavey, I am fishing Hastings on Sunday..South Coast Beach Champs Open...a storm is just what that match needs as it is always gin clear when I fish it!

 

I heard it was a bit of a disaster last year, because of the local commercial boys sticking nets not far from the gutter and you had to fish realy close all the time, otherwise you where stuck fast in them if you cast any distance, thats what i heard anyway. good luck to you damo i dont fish those things anymore.......

Vince passed through just south of us here in Albufeira heading towards the west coat of Spain, after i had spent ages securing my boat with about three miles of rope, but at least i got it all off again a lot quicker.

Stavey, I think that was a rumour. I didn't hear of any nets anywhere. There were certainly none by the harbour. Got to fish it to try and retain my crown!

It's 'orrible in 'ampshire too. Just been out in the garden - raining steadily but coming straight down, so not much wind.

Metcheck.com.....very technical, they explain why certain weather situations occur, but they hardily ever get it right!

Hey damo, popped down the bay to give the nephew a casting lesson, strongish south easterly bloody horrible casting weather but you have got your colour for your match at the weekend and it looks like it is going to stay that way to, you will be glad to hear.
