Ken L found the new & improved Darwin Awards site (look in the non-fishing section) and one is so great I felt compelled to post it here. Not a true Darwin Award story since the idiots involved did survive but still .... obviously these guys are too stupid to operate a boat and I'm betting they will manage to kill themselves next time.

Wow, good one.

 

Last year I read about some drunk up in my neck of the woods who filled his waste tank with fuel by mistake. Not sure how he emptied it, but at least he didn't kill anyone, including himself.

I remember to joy of reading about a terrified old couple who were on a caravanning holliday and could hear someone outside their motorcaravan.

There was much shuffleing followed by a pop and the sound of something being unskrewed.

The next sound was of vomiting and swearing as the would be petrol syphoner realised that he'd just sucked the content of the chemical toilet into his mouth....
