1955 Pontiac in 1959 (at age 14). I drove to the exam center as I remember it and the examiner fussed at me but did give the road test so I left as a legal driver. :D

Funnily enough, it was a bog standard 600 as sold by the company where I was an appie mechanic. Some 5/6 years later I aquired a Fiat Abarth 750cc twin overhead cam which went like Sh*t off a shovel (for those days!!)
