Welcome to the Poll Vote for "Picture Of The Month"

Thanks very much team.In relative terms to photography I am still a "newbie".So much to learn and not much time! When I initially got my Canon Powershot A700 I loved it.Its like having a blank canvas with a fresh brush in your hand.Steve gave me loads of advice and even invited me on a photoshoot

 

I now know what "depth of field " and "ISO " mean now

 

Retired and got my Canon EOS 400D - its still a learning curve my friends.Old horse and new tricks spring to mind! Got loads of support from Danny via PMs.He was my sensai.

 

Locally got my mate Kenn Reay see here to help me as well

 

Danny took over from Steve as my sensai and via PMs got loads of good advice.What can I say? probably Danny would have been proud of me winning this comp

 

Oh God tearful again I know this will will upset Sue but have to do it,Just raising a glass to absent friends.
