2 Handed Rods

I'm new to fishing the 2 handed rod, in fact I don't own one yet. I've been told that Daiwa and Shakespeare manufacture good inexpensive rods. I'm particularly interested in a rod that has the traditional taper suited for spey casting. It's not important if it overhead casts or not. I'll be fishing small to medium sized rivers. Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

Go with the daiwa WF99 or the Daiwa Lochmor X rod 15ft. I own both these rods and are i highly recomend both of them. I have owned and snapped the shakespear royalty salmon fly rod and wouldent recomend them to any one. They are heavy, have no power and are a bit to brittle, my advice go with the daiwa fly rods.

Best Regards
