I know, I know...

These threads come up all the time.

But if you were pressed what would your best six spring salmon patterns be, and best six for grilse. I have a few favourites, but as I have yet to catch 6 salmon in total I don't think there is much point in me commenting.

But I have a fly box which suggest I have travelled the world to collect salmon flies and would like to see it thinned out. But I will wait to retire them until I find out which ones work best.

Looking at the box reminds me I have to learn off their bloody names again...
