The Lure Anglers' Society is holding its annual show - this year '2001 - A Trace Oddity'.

On Saturday 9/6/01 at University of Derby. Doors open 8.45am.

Adults - £10 on door,

Concessions (including 16 - 18 year olds) - £5

2 juniors (under 16) free with each ticket paying adult.

OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS OF LAS.

Speakers include John Wilson and Mick Brown. First speaker starts at 10.30am.

Loads of trade stands selling rods, reels, lures, flies - mostly anything you could need at very low, show prices (honest!). Second hand tackle bring and buy stand. Other club stands including the Bass stand and sea anglers most welcome. Quite a bit there for all fluff chuckers as well.

Raffles, demonstrations and loads of experts on hand to chat and help.

Café selling food at Student Union prices and lunchtime bar selling at same rates.

The place itself is an absolute knock out - new and purpose built exhibition centre.

Address is - The Atrium, University of Derby, Kedleston Road, Derby.

Directions - Going north on A38 just west of Derby centre, take first sliproad after the junction roundabout with A52. Left at top of slip - 200 yards turn right into University. (No southbound sliproad off A38.) Acres of free car parking. Cheap taxi ride from Derby station.

It really is a bloody good day out even if you're not a total lure freak!
