Have a good time everyone :2:

Ive been lucky enough to fish Wingham 3 times in the past 4 years so only fair to give someone else ago

Roll on next year, I don't think there will be any bream in Wingham that won't break the record :)

I'm back is fishing like riding a bike? you never forget how?

Made up I'm going, and that my lad Jack has the chance to come and catch some great specimen fish. Ta Steve for this opportunity and sorry to all those who didn't make it.

Just got home after working away for a few days and I am absolutely delighted :clap2: . A big thank you Steve for giving me this opportunity. It will be a privelage to be there and also to meet people from the forum in the flesh. I will bring spare extra long banksticks but please let me know if you require anything else

Again thanks to Steve for allowing us the privilege of fishing Wingham.

Also if anyone needs/wants a lift, I'll be heading down from Bletchley on Saturday morning (aiming to leave between 04:30 and 05:00) and travelling via Dartford, returning on Monday evening. I'd be happy to pick up anyone on or close to my route and have space for 2 passengers with full kit.

Can't wait for the 17th.

If anyone wants any long bobbins, let me know by the middle of next week. I can make up 4, maybe 6.

EDIT: to borrow for free that is, after Rich's post I thought it might look like I was trying to make a quick buck!

Any word on prices of long banksticks?

Rich

Just got the prices for the King's Angling banksticks I use and recommend off Invicta Tackle. For my field test go to http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/Tackle-And-Bai...banksticks.html

approx 42inch (105cm) £14.99

approx 30inch (75cm) £13.99

I recommend one 42in and one 30in per rod.

These will be on the Invicta Tackle web site shortly. Go to http://www.britnett-carver.co.uk/invicta/index.html Otherwise just phone the shop on 01233-661770 and the owner Tim Barnes, who's a Wingham member, will bring them over so saving you postage.

They also do cheaper ones from Korum for £9.99 and £8.99 for roughly the same size. However they're not a patch on the King's Angling ones. I've had mine 5 years, and although aluminium are as straight as the day I bought them!
