Just before we get the rush of "Ah, a chance to get back at company X whose rod snapped first time," please bear in mind that there are ways of saying things that can be published...and ways that can't

 

As an incentive, we will award two Anglers' Net T-shirts (one each) to the best two submissions this weekend. To be the best doesn't meant it has to be written in the style of a flamboyant linguist, or seventeen pages long - it means that it gets the point across well to anglers of all levels.
