It's been snowing moderately hard for several hours here in East Kent, and we have about an inch or two. Several forum members are on a work party 4 miles down the lane at Wingham. :o

Few flakes here in Suffolk. Nothing much yet, though.

I decided to do my bi-annual car wash today, as it's an odd-numbered year, and the water was freezing on the paintwork!

Just been out in the garden to put some more food out for the birds. One of our resident pheasants came charging over for peanuts. One of the other ones with him is hobbling on one leg, although he was uninjured yesterday. I hope a predator doesn't get him.

The snow's not quite as deep as it first appeared, only about an inch as it's melted a bit.

The problem will be if it re-freezes tonight, especially as that's when the main belt of snow is expected. Somehow I think Peggy will be postponing her routine breast screening tomorrow!

A few flurrys here in London, nothing major yet although the train company is already warning people about tomorrow morning. I brought my laptop home so if the trains don't run I'll just work from home.

Lol, talking of which...

Got the car so dirty over the Christmas period in Norfolk (one swim is 1 mile through farmers fields), and kind of liked the way it looked (mud hides the mediocrity of our car), and then I was thinking how convenient that I'd turn up to the AN Pred fish-in with a filthy car, which everyone would ignore because it's probably the old duffer and I've also got something better. Angly man pride intact. :D

So, the missus, god bless here, decided to take it for a full monty wash and wax last week! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Everryone will know it's my pride and joy now. :o

Maybe I could get it stolen... :g:
