I am currently tying to locate several books for a friend in Italy.

"Understanding trout behaviour" - Goddard & Clarke

"Tying flies the paraloop way" - Ian Outer

"The world best trout flies" -  John Roberts

"Flyfishing for grayling" -  John Roberts

If you could possible give me any leads were I could obtain these books, I would be very grateful.

The first two appear to be available from Amazon .

Cheers,

Elton

Try www.abebooks.co.uk, an online search engine for many book sellers and well worth bookmarking.

"The Worlds Best Trout Flies" is listed by a dozen or so sellers starting at £6.50. "Fly Fishing For Grayling" is only listed once at £250.00!

Coch-y-Bonddu also advertise on Abebooks and they used to be my first choice. I've got to say however that since finding Abebooks C-y-B seem very expensive in comparison to the other advertisers. This may of course be because they're fishing specialists and thus know the real value whilst the non-fishing specialists don't. Either way, C-y-B were the most expensive for the requested books, although they were the only sellers with the grayling book..

Gotta agree with David here Abebooks is now ALWAYS my first port of call when checking out the price of books. Acts as a useful point of refrence if you're bidding on eBay as well...
