Chew or Blagdon

I'd like to fish Chew or Blagdon in July. Which to go for? I'm an intermediate angler and I'll have a newcomer to reservoirs with me. Tempted by Chew as its got motors on the boats and we once got stuck on a scottish loch!!

Also - anyone know anywhere good for B&B - a pub nearby perhaps?
