Help A US Visitor

Big problem is the time of year. The southern chalk streams are not available until late April through to September and not at their best until May. The further north you go, the later that date becomes. Although 'streams' was specified, the only places worth fishing in March will be the stillwaters. There's plenty of those around, most will require transport of some kind, not being near city centres. Would help to know where they intend to visit.

Elton:

We will be in the UK from March 16-30, 2004. We are from Colorado, USA and my husband likes to flyfish streams for trout.

I had such a good time fly-fishing Colorado last year, and the folks there were so helpful, that I would like to help if I can.

If this guy catches trout in Colorado he is probably a damn good angler - the streams there are some of the most challenging I have ever fished.

Given that the proposed time-slot is not the best time of the year (many rivers are not even open until April) there are still a few possibilities.

Put me in touch by AN private mail (not Email, we are still having difficulties following our computer burn-out)
