How was your 2004 Season?

first season of regular game fishing was a serioes of lows with occasional highs.

 

Almost all of my fishing was on the river south tyne which had its best run of fish for years, I fished the reaches near haltwhistle for a couple of hours most weekends.

 

Brown trout - dozens, but most were small with only a couple exceeding 1lb, largest fish however was a PB of a smidge over 4lb caught on a black flying C intended for salmon

 

Sea Trout - 8 in total all under 5lb.

 

Salmon - Lost more than I care to remember including some nice fish, only managed to land 3, all coloured fish, largest about 8lb.

 

 

new season has started but not seen any salmon yet.
