Are PETA right or wrong

Neither Cory, I had a pretty good childhood you seem to assume that one or the other of your assertions is true and they're both ever so slightly insulting.

My childhood doesn't have any bearing on my dislike of children, it's borne out of experience.

Sorry mate I didn't mean to insult you, but I just have a loathing for child loathers who forget that they were once children themselves, it's not children you have a problem with jeepster, it's parents who can't bring up children who can behave themselves and who can socialise properly with adults.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

I'm no child loather, just a disliker, I do remember being a child but don't remember being indulged in the way kids are today, and I guess that's what I don't like. (and apology although unnecessary, accepted :))

We must remember that not everyone knows where their eggs come from:

I know exactly what you mean jeepster. They are the kids that never hear the word "No".

I encouraged my son to be an omnivore, the same as most of us, but carnivore is a much more emotive word of course. :)
It's the word we use in France. My offspring know that they are carnivores and predators. We never used any euphemisms when we were raising our children.

as a kid i was expected to find my own entertainment it wasnt in a box nor provided by an adult ,i expect others to entertain themselves too.

you only need yourself to depend on and a chosen partner in life ,you dont need mates to distract you nor entertain you i think.

i may though look ignorant refusing to socialise its entertaining yourselfs bad points , not learning the finer points of life in how you look to others ,it doesnt bother me its not my problem. :D

i make few (if any) demands on others i expect them to limit their demands on me ,if i were single i would make a fine hermit.

Why I am 'irresponsible'?. PETA are not high on my list of favourite organisations, but if they make people stop and think, then credit where credit is due is my motto. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean everything they do is wrong.

I'm not being evasive Cory, but if you read my post again you'll find it answers your question quite clearly.

Peter.

lets not forget peta are a bunch of idiots

Perhaps, and they may come over as over zealous in some areas, but they may be performing a service by highlighting the following type of activity

WARNING steel yourselves and dont watch it at all if your squeamish.
