Braided leader loops....help!!!!

Initially I thought that there were great.

 

I was happy to put my trust in them.

 

Then I had a couple come off....superglued and sleeved! But they were nice fish:angry

 

I went back to the nail knot :

Most flylines do have a tip that is far to fine for braided loops, so I just trim a foot or so from the forward taper and then apply the loop to the thicker line.

 

I have just started to whip loops onto the flyline by just folding the flyline back on itself. I trim the end to a fine taper to make an almost seamless join.
