Rapala floating minnow in 9cm size is deadly for trout.The minnow and gold/black colours are out standing.But they dont cast well.

When shore fishing mepps & droppens and 10 gram tobies are much better.Or better still natural minnow.

I work for Rapala and we do hundreds of lures from 3cm up to the 9cm countdown that have proven deadly for trout, a company called www.harris-sportsmail.com have the biggest selection I know of in this country
