Tarrant Lands 30lb+ Pike on new Greys Prowla Rod

Anglers' Net

Recommended Posts

Come on you old foggy get with it and get down with the kids!

Aint you heard of "Mugga" hooks,"Stonz" weights or the likes (cant think of all the hundreds of others right now!) No one spells properly these days its just not "cool"! and the modern youth learn in "Media Studies" at school that if you want to draw attention to something when marketing it you spell it in a wacky, zany way!!!

Sure, but I thought Greys was an upmarket brand, the rest being the province of carp anglers from Essex.

You would think that a posh set up like Greys would be able to spell prowler! Unless they are trying to ingratiate themselves with us thoroughly coarse types wot can't be expected to spell! Or is it that Dave Lumb got there first?!

Well done Chris, a crackng fish and one of my dreams what ever rod it was caught on does/should not detract that 30lb pike are still a pike anglers dream fish and that was some fish!

I would like to fish chew as it has produced some big fish over the years, maybe we should arrange an AN fish in down there ;)

im not debaiting the origonality of the photo but..... and a very big but.... doesnt the mug shot look cut out and placed on a background?

if you look at the pikes tail you can see the white edge, something i see a lot when i modify images for use in websites :D

the same with tarrants head its just to sharp if you look at the background aswel. probably all to do with the snow though as ive seen similar pictures
