Those rods sound interesting, Elton, and after hearing you rave about them in 'private', I know it's not bull. I'm going to have to get my hands on one.........or two, of those.

They look the part, too, Steve. I hope that the final product looks much the same, which I'm told it will. As they've been developed in real fishing environments, thought has gone into everything on them, right down to the correct reflective material. I think that the reel fitting area is going to be extended slightly from the ones I saw, for anglers who like their reel higher up the butt, and that a cosmetic change may be made to some of the whipping placement, but that's about it.

I hope they do sell well as the company I work for will be importing them!!!!

 

Elton - If you need some casting tuition give me a ring (after 1730) and I will tell you where and when the Ipswich casting club get together.

They may charge a few quid for a lesson or you can join for about fifteen which gets you public liability insurance ON THE BEACH - handy if a cast goes wrong!!!!!!!!!!
