A large halibut pellet or chick peas (soaked overnight and then boiled until you can just about squash them between your fingers).

I wouldn't believe the stories about boilies though. Trigga would be my first choice.

English as tuppence, changing yet changeless as canal water, nestling in green nowhere, armoured and effete, bold flag-bearer, lotus-fed Miss Havishambling, opsimath and eremite, feudal, still reactionary, Rawlinson End.

id go for the ground up boilie paste wrapped round a 10mm pop up, with a small bag of boilie crumb with some broken bits, flavour of your choice.

or luncheon meat punched with an apple corer.

these two seem to be working for me at the mo.

Halibut pellets, maple peas, pastes, bread, corn, meat baits, maize, worms, chum mixers,

there are so many baits and particles its mind boggling.

The hardest part is gaining confidence with a bait when you first use it.

I never thought I would get takes on multiple maple peas and ended up taking a water apart with them after slowly introducing them into tactical areas. The same happended with halibut pellets.

I am now going to try Nutrabits csl and trigga hooker pellets.
