Hoping for my first cast tonight on the River Otter at Budleigh!!!!!!!

 

Any first day news or advice anyone wants to offer, ElK hair was great last year but am still not hitting the 1lb plus brownies??????????

Don't just take my word for it. Terry Griffiths writing in FF&FT said it is the best dry fly for both river and still water. There are some excellent variations as well. Most of the rest of the site is worth exploring, BUT there is a photo of me on there. Best avoided.

'scuse my ignorance O.T....(Don't live in Blighty) What's FF&FT? I've no doubt it's akiller...it simply looks the biz! I've already got the hooks and materials ready to flood the (Local) Danish market with 'em!
