Well it looks like the hip replacement has been a complete success, I am no longer in any pain and can walk without a stick for the first time in months.

Yesterday I had a great day out with Leon fishing for big Perch on a commercial and coped with everything except the loss of a big big perch as we were getting ready to net it. I managed to get in and out of my chair and could bait up tackle up and carry most of my gear to and from the car, with only a little assistance from Leon. Next step; a bit of Beach casting, bivvying up for the first time in years and also venturing down the main river and the carriers on the next Timsbury visit.

I also managed on Tuesday night to get round one of our Sword dances so I will be up for the Morris when we commence on May Day morning

Good to hear Tony :D

My Dad had both of his done in his later years and it gave him a completely new lease of life. It is an excellent op and worth it for the pain relief alone.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Out here they make you hang on till your old and then you will not want a second one on the same hip.

So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Slightly off topic but when are you thinking of coming up?

 

 

Good news on the hip, if you're up at home anytime and conditions are right you can have a run out in my boat for a bit of inshore cod fishing, no time limit on the offer
