My first Carping Session - DEADLY Sweetcorn !!!!

Sweetcorn has put more carp on the bank than all the other baits, including all the different boilies, put together.

 

Personally I always carry a tin of Tesco's Sweetcorn in my bag.

yeah i agree with that, 1 of my two rods is always baited with corn. popping it up and inch or two helps alot as well, also tends to reduce the number of 'nuisance' fish.

how do you pop up sweetcorn, rig foam ?

How do people find the artificial sweet corns? I've recently bought some 'pop up' tutti fruitti flavoured corn. The packet advises that real corn is mounted with it to reduce the level of 'up' in the 'pop'.

dont like the plastic stuff, as didnt have any luck on it what so ever last yr, and so am making my own sweetcorn popups this year

both foam sandwiched between real corn and immitation corn are great, had loads of luck last year on the plaggy stuff.
