Hi Preston, the Snake-Bite combi-rig is probably the most widely used of hooklink materials and rig types.

 

Personally I use the 25lb version in Brown (or Gold as it says on the packet!) in the combi-rig fashion.

Snake bite certainly is a versatille hooklink material,It can be used to create a number of different types of presentation from hinged stiff rigs,combi links.One of my favorite uses is to have a 6-8 inch link with about4-5 inches striped back which gives you the finnese of braid but also does not tangle badly.
