Hundreds and hundreds of them in Weymouth harbour, patrolling up and down. Small ones ,bigger ones and big ones. So you know where to go, hurry and and get some fishy photo's of them. You heard it here first. :)

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I was down the old dock at Motney Hill on Sunday for some casting practice.

 

Lots of mullet, feeding on the surface algae in shoals of 20 or 30 fish (all those top-lips sucking at the surface looked strangely comical).

 

And several times my 4oz lead landed amongst a group of mullet around 100 metres out, causing the water to erupt in panic (helped me to pin-point exactly where it was landing!)

Been spotting fish here in Dublin since Paddy's Day 4 weeks ago. Then they were just high speed travelling fish heading up the river.

 

Didn't take a temp. but if they're using up all that energy moving around do we assume they will be feeding somewhere....?

Up near Westham Bridge waiting for the sluices to open for them to enter Radipole Lake?

 

A good place to jig them with big treble hooks.

Yes they were all around there, going under the pontoon right next to the gates . Recon that would be the eaisest way of catching them as you can't really use a net, too many boats and mooring lines. :fishing::fishing::fishing::whistling:
