Just to whet your appetite I caught perch to 3-02 earlier this week plus male tench to 7-11. A Forum member did even better raising the male tench record to 7-15. Plus there were more big bags of tench.

And a certain member of this Forum is currently on the Carp Lake and has broken the lake record with a 43-04 common! I shalln't steal his thunder though.

yep it was me and im very :clap2::clap2::clap2:

took 30 mins to land and had great pleasure in getting elton round to record and photo the fish

look forward to seeing you all at the fish-in .terry and me look forward to this every year, not only good fishing but a great crack as well

catch ya later glyn

Another 40lber has come out of the Carp Lake today, a 40-06 common.

Let's just hope it continues for the Fish-In.

Absolutely brilliant - nice one Glyn B) It sounded painful but worth it! That is a huge fish.

I think I said it before, but the Wingham fish-in is the high-point of my angling year since I started fishing in the closed season, I love it.

The annual weather watch has begun - I know it'll change a hundred times before next weekend, but at the moment it's saying cloudy, a bit rainy, southerlies, and mild with lowish pressure - fish catching weather :)

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music

I can give a current bankside weather report from the Cotswold Water Park - it's sodding freezing and the fish have gone to bed. Think I'll be bringing some winter gear to Wingham for the evenings, and procuring brewing up and hot meal apparatus!

Will you be bringing any of those Method feeders that you used to devastaing effect last year?

After a certain age, if you don't wake up aching in every joint, you are probably dead.

Oh dear.............I saw this with my old Nan before we had to put her in a home! Giving the milk money to the paper boy and paying the Gas bill to the newsagent! :P

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

I've sent you a PayPal invoice from the correct address. This includes their charges. I've got to add these this year otherwise Peggy wil be out of pocket.
