There'll be a second universal phone charger in the clubhouse by the weekend. The battery charger is a 30min one.

My boss just confirmed I can get both the friday and the monday off work so I can prepare everything I need on the friday and fish until monday now!!!

 

Do anyone use Hemp at Wingham for tench? I was thinking about fishing with hemp and making up a boilie sized ball of hemp somehow (possibly Arma mesh - http://www.foxint.com/catalogues-products....&section=1) for use on a hair rig. Does anyone who has used hemp there still find it is effective when fishing on silt or is it only good when fishing over gravel?

I think Hemps even better in silt! Tench and Carp definately love the stuff but Im fairly coinvinced Bream arnt attracted by it.

Yes, I've just checked it on my new Nokia. It also charges up to 3 phones at once.

 

The adaptors are on a central hub so, unless someone walks off with the entire unit, they can't go walkies - unlike with the old one. This is still in the clubhouse but minus one of the adaptors.

The tench go nuts for hemp, but I've never used it as hookbait, so it'll be very interesting to see how you get on with the arma mesh. I can't see why it wouldn't work, good idea.

 

I'm usually after the bream so don't use hemp, but if I'm fishing for tench I consider it vital. I don't put too much in though, just enough to keep them grubbing about.

Just sent PayPal invoices to those who I haven't yet received cheques from for their bait and/or BBQs. I'll be off to Wingham from tomorrow lunchtime to get everything ready so it would be helpful if you'd kindly pay asap.
