Alan how far away do you live because i could help you out.Tony

I know this may seem odd to these posters.

But why are you trying to resurect Alan? Much better if you stopped p*ssing about, and came to the presentation of his memorial trophy in October.

I doubt if any of us want to meet Alan too soon.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

Spasor, maybe some of the new folks didn't know Alan and his history.

He was a top bloke and will never be forgotten by me that's for sure.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

But, seriously, I make all the fishing weights for myself, and my fishing mates, which makes about 2 folks !!!!! :P:P I dont think there is a corner of the UK , that hasnt got a bucket or two of my fishing weights left for their use......from the very top of Scotland, to the very bottom of Engerland.... ;);)

Personally, I think Alan would laugh at this as the other posts which refer to him.

I may be wrong but I recall an old viking saying which states something like "A person who is spoken of is always remembered" and, after translation has several differing variations............ :)

Norrie, I have asked ALL my friends if they have heard of your fishing weights, they both replied with a negative bark because I had some chicken in my hand :P

So maybe your weights have not reached the darkest outpost of the Empire yet.

"My imaginary friend doesn't like your imaginary friend is no basis for armed conflict...."
