lead mould(s)

Recommended Posts

i think my weights predate Norrie :D

i must look out my old moulds ,somewhere theres drilled bullet and arlsey ones along with sea ones.

top tip use your barbicue for melting lead ,get it well stoked ,stick as much lead as you can in an iron pot (aluminium will melt) then blast it with a leaf blower ,very very fast but does burn out the bottom of the barbi very quickly.

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Personally, I think Alan would laugh at this as the other posts which refer to him.

I may be wrong but I recall an old viking saying which states something like "A person who is spoken of is always remembered" and, after translation has several differing variations............ :)

Norrie, I have asked ALL my friends if they have heard of your fishing weights, they both replied with a negative bark because I had some chicken in my hand :P

So maybe your weights have not reached the darkest outpost of the Empire yet.

Hiya, I dont do them as a commercial venture, usually they are given away free to fishing mates and the like....helpful skippers etc etc....to all points of the compass.....sometimes when I do a couple of hundred for someone, they will send a few bob to cover for gas and the peripherals. I've got over 3/4 ton of lead in the garden, so have to keep making them. A couple of my mates are machine operators on building sites, and they come home with loads of the stuff. Its very theraputic actually, standing in the shed all day, with the footy on the telly, and a cold Carling on the bench........:yeah::rolleyes:

AND, IMHO talking about someone after their death, does keep the alive.... :D:D

In sleep every dog dreams of food, and I, a fisherman, dream of fish..
