I've used it in groundbait a few years ago together with mollases and crumb and other ingredients for Tench.

As far as I can remember it worked well.

 

I've also used Maize Meal (powdered maize which is a form of sweetcorn) both in with my maggots and in a light cloud groundbait.

I rate it very highly for bream fishing and its not bad when trotting corn on the river as it drifts down stream better than corn drawing fish up to you.

It's very good for mixing with ground bait if you are after a sticky consistency. I some times add it to method mix and it helps bind the ground bait on to the feeder.

 

I have also chucked it direct in to the water when fishing close in. The theory being that it adds plenty of smell to attract fish with out providing much in the form of food. It also creates a cloudy effect that I think helps attract some fish in. However when liquidised corn is not the nicest thing to handle, but if it helps bank a few more fish its worth it.

hi newbie here , my wife has used it quite alot when pole fishing, she buys it ready in a tin ,she uses it when fishing corn on the pole and a cup on her pole,tips it in to form a cloud in the water to attract the carp and bingo,,she does well with this method allthough it can become abit sticky refilling your pot each time...but it certainly works without overfeeding the fish..

I wouldn't go roach fishing without liquidised sweetcorn these days. The frozen kilo rubbish does for the groundbait mix and JGG for the hookbait....simples....squeak
