Guys - I'll get this sorted asap. It'll probably cost me much the same, to be honest - servers are just like home PC's, in that the price drops all the time. It's just that it's a mammoth task doing the actual move.

Elton - considering the rather horrible luck you've had with server management and support at least for the past several hosts you've used, it might be worth considering a DIY effort with Si for support.

 

Host your own sites and have enough capacity to host some others. I suspect there are enough folks on here who are less than happy with their current ISP to consider a change. I know if I wanted any UK facing ISP (and I may well) I'd prefer to go with someone I know.
