yup my golf on its last MOT cost £11 to get through ,actually it was a worn bolt rather than a worn joint it would have been less than a quid ,its 23 B)

the little old ladies next door on its first MOT cost £600 :o

the volvo cost a bit this year it had 2 dead bushes but otherwise no other problems its 20 years old ,pigs! if someone asks you to help with volvo 240 trailing arm bushes (the rear ones) walk away!!!

all this rubbish about old cars causing polution is stupid they may chuck out a little more emissions (although i bet my emissions would put most cars to shame ) its been worked out to produce a new car its 9 years worth of emissions!!!!

so buying a new car every 5 years polutes more than keeping a banger on the road

is the "green" issues a mere sham to produce or more importantly sell (with that nice tax for the gov) more cars??

Nobody seems able, or willing, to tell me how much CO2 is going into the environment every year from rusting iron and steel.

nor from humans themselves :D

6 billion though are probably chucking out more CO2 than all the cars but we dare not suggest limiting human emissions

£300 quid for my Mot, but it did include a full service cam belt and exhaust refit. Could have done it myself but no time for fishing let alone cars.

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!
