Might be an idea not to reply or comment on this topic, just add pics?

Nice Pic Den !!!!

I had hoped to take some nice shots today, as I took the day of to go Salmon/Sea Trout fishing in the Isle of Harris ... it poured rain all day though, so couldnt get any of the photos I had hoped to get :(

Heres one from a very very bad bunch - will have to return to take shots when weather improves, and try to be lucky enough to get one thats half decent.

From a pottery in Seagrove, NC, a very interesting colony of potters. Took this and some others when we paid a visit this past weekend.

Fishing a lovely glide the other day hidden from all in the undergrowth & me camo's, when this dozy Sheep came along & nearly walked straight into my rod!

I like the photo, but I wish I'd taken Den's Dragonfly pic, that's a corker.

Must invest in a half decent digital camera after seeing some great photos on this forum.

What sort of price range and models will I be looking at ?

you need spend no more than 200 quid, and if you got for a known brand, and get more than 5 megapixels you'll do fine

decide if you want a small camera, or a bigger one with a better optical zoom, and to my mind, most importantly, get one that comes with rechargable batteries, they eat ordinary AAs
