Too much of it will turn a baby's skin a rather strange orange colour and surely any substance doing that cannot be safe or normal or healthy.

I don't know, and can't answer for everybody else Newt, but I have a certificate of Discharge from a Mental Hospital which says I am 'BETTER'.

 

Newt, at the start of this thread, I apologised to you and the other Mods envisaging the work that it might cause, I did not realise that you would sink to such depths so as to get another mod to lock it.

I have a book somewhere that gives a recipe for carrot wine. I've never tried it, but the recipe was for 18gallons of the stuff!

My Dad used to grow Show Carrots. They were grown in 5 ft drainpipes and reached aboout 4ft. I cant remember how the B****y heck we sliced them though! I do remember they went fantastically well in his Leek Broth when they were in season, now leeks, thats another story and maybe another thread altogether!

Ok back on topic, i prefer my carrots unpeeled/skin on, is this the prefered method of other carrot eaters or what.
