Maybe its a result of living in the northwest and reading on here, but I'm a little conscious my tench PB isn't that impressive at 5lb 8oz. So when Tigger offered to take me tench fishing last night i jumped at the chance.

Sadly I cant say i feel any better today having been beaten 3-0 by someone fishing 10 feet away who equaled then bettered my PB with a 6, but thanks for trying Ian.

Brian, the weathers lookin spot on for this Friday if you fancy another stab......I've no doubt you'll better your PB with the first fish or two. I've never known fish fight like the ones in that water there like a some powerfull Tench sub species!

A big thanks to Tigger for taking me Tenching again last night, which got me a new PB of 5lb 14oz.
