anywhere twixt Christchurch and Ringwood (I'm a member of Christchurch club) so have a fair bit of choice. If its slow I'll hit one of our smaller lakes for carp off the top.

Tight lines all

Of course I could fish both the Dorset Stour and the Hants Avon at the same time at Christchurch Quay! (available on a day ticket to anyone!) Good pike, carp, bream, mullet, sea trout etc.

Any grayling in there? Or am I getting confused in my old-age?

DG

I've only ever fished

Cowthorpe twice before and didn't catch Grayling. I'd be very suprised if there isn't a decent head there though. I don't need to travel as far if I want to fish for them....I consider myself very lucky on that score.

That's the plan DG. Do you know that area?

Only catch is that when I've fished there my local tackle shop has been happily selling me day tickets for Bathampton AA, and it now looks as though it's a Bristol,Bath+Wilts AA water ... Phone calls to make!

Bleeding heart liberal pinko, with bacon on top.
