Hi

I am looking for a supply of hemp groundbait or crushed hemp by mail order that does not charge stupid amounts for postage.

Any suggestions

Thanks

I totally agree with Ferg. Unless I was caught short and needed a small bag of prepared product, I wouldn't dream of buying it from a fishing shop. To give you an example of what's on offer, this is my local supplier:

I agree entirely, the problem is I don't have a local petfood or seed supplier so everything up here is mail order. <_<

Hinders do a delivery service but I can't remember if theres a minimum order or carriage charge but its worth a look on their site

Failing that one of the pet food wholesalers might deliver but again its minimum orders for them, can't recollect the name of the suppliers for the local pet shops but they're from Bolton and they deliver to the North East so it might be worth doing a search based on Bolton wholesalers of pet and feed stuffs

Maybe club together with some other local anglers and order in bulk?

Same problem Steve, just don't have any other local anglers up here. It is all Salmon and Trout fishing.

I don't know anyone else locally who coarse fishes

Is there anyone who orders pigeon/bird/animal food in bulk Dave?

An few kilos of hemp in with their order should be no problem.

John.

I just thought, the next time Prince Harry visits Balmoral, ask him. He might have a few connections in that direction.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

I think Harry's premium hempseed might be a bit out of budget...

It's not too bad if you buy it by the 1/8th.

Allegedly.
