Maybe they are both winding us all up...maybe there never was a Dave Swallow it was all Secret Squirrel.

 

 

There is definitely a Dave Swallow; but I had my doubts about post number 9 back in December cos I doubt if Dave's ever been near a computer.

chubbs ,it seems you are ,sparticus after all .welcome too the forums ,because of your low post count ,some of your posts aint showing up untill they've been aproved and your ability too post pictures will also come into force when you reach i think 15 posts or whatever ,its a measure brought in too weed out the troll's ,we are quite a friendly bunch once you get too know us .

I’m sorry to enter this old thread, but could anybody answer me some questions regarding the six different Dave Swallow Reels shown at the picture?

1. Which of the reels is the Dave Swallow MK1?
2. Which of the reels is the Dave Swallow MK2?
3. What do you know about the other reels?

I think the rights for the reels (do correct me Dave) were sold onto Arnold who produced the 'Kingpin' based on it, like this one:

 

 

I don't know if Kingpin even make this type anymore (and I'm keeping mine before anyone asks)

Blimey, this takes me back to a time when I was buying all sorts of centrepins to try them out, thankfully I've settled on just two now. I still have the Dave Swallow reel, don't have a use for it but like the way it's put together.
