hi all

i'm currently using 12ft nash extreme pursuits,great rods and meet all my requirements for my english fishing,i can hit 150yards max with a shockleader and 10lb line,on a recent french trip the fish were showing at 170-180yards i was a good 20yards off,

 

i don't want to go down to 8lb or use braid,i'm looking for another set of rods to help me gain those valuable extra yards,don't want to spend a fortune if i can help it like on 13ft hi s ive's etc,been looking at starbaits milspec 13ft 3.5tc £525 for 3,anybody used them,any other recomendations greatly appreciated.

I can't quote on the rods you mentioned, but look at the Chub Outcasts.

They have had very good press and i know people that own them who are very happy with them.

And even better you can pick then up for around £70 if you shop around.

Why not braid?
