hubble confusion

since the hubble is 15 years old it must use 15 year old technology .

if its that old how does it get high resolution visual pictures? it must be digital but 15 year old digtal camera sensors were i suspect very crude then ,if the sensors are crude then they must be fairly large so does the hubble "fill in" the missing information between them ? in far off pictures are the objects actually smaller than the "gaps" between the sensors? if so is the hubble making up things it cannot see

the "image" must be enhanced onboard the hubble then stored before transmission so subject to distortion before finaly being sent down,if the hubble sends down "made up" "pictures" and the recieving computers also "fill in " or enhance the image how much of the image so proudly shown on the hubble site is actually real

we do the same with our old rotten stuff were proud of ,the Victory is the oldest still in use navel vessel in the world but in reality a lot is not since its been "enhanced" or made up itself so very little of the original exists ,the difference is we can "enhance" by comparison to the old whilst the hubble cannot :D

is it possible to see raw "footage" direct from the camera ?i suspect it will be as bad as the camera's of the time best effort all the rest is man made intervention,if its then enhanced by computor what does the computer take as a reference point seeing the only thing it can base its programing on is the crude pictures sent to it by hubble and a faulty human programmer that can use illogical assumptions
