The first record you ever bought ?

Well, in my case, it was Jean Michelle Jarre's Oxygene.

I was about 13 at the time - I was a strange child !

First album was " Willy and the poorboys"- Creedence Clearwater Revival, still one of the best I have ever bought.

equinox is one of my all tyime fave albums.

Magnetic fields is good too.

Try Underwater sunlight and Richochet by Tangerine dream, you will like this if you like Jarre.

My first Album i ever bought was Who loves you by Frankie valli and the four seasons.

My fave album at the moment is Richochet gathering mojave 2003.

Nothing wrong with Jarre at all - I even brought Aero a couple of months ago to give my 5:1 system a workout.

It's just that I reckon that was an odd first record with everyone else buying pop singles.

 

Tangerine Dream never really cut it on record but were fun live, I think I saw them 3 or 4 times in the early eighties.

I don't often feel the urge to listen to them now though 'cause there's so much good trancy stuff about - check out "Ha" from Talvin Singh or "Juaku" by DJ Krush.
