MMR the rights and wrongs

The reason that the preference is for a single injection is so that you can be sure the child has had all three.

The sorry fact is that uptake of the three single injections is poor, due to the fact that people can not be relied upon to turn up for appointments, or maybe they just forget.

One jab, all done

Speaking of furriners, a Cuckoo has just landed in the Rowan tree outside my window. How cool is that

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Did you get treatment from a Reichi Master? :headhurt:

The virus that causes chickenpox (varicella) is well known for remaining in the system and re-emerging at a much later date as shingles. No mystery to that one. Nasty, though - "The belt of roses from Hell" it used to be called...

Chesters - except for the idea that the 3-in-1 MMR is new, I can't argue with any of your ideas.

It has been around longer than at least half of our members have been alive.

Just a quick word from me, Wasnt the so called research by that guy Wakefield totally discredited? and hasn't extensive research been done worldwide, by quite civilised countries like Sweden, which have found no link at all with Autism and MMR jabs?

At what point do you distrust research?

Distrust research the same way you vote if you are serious about an election - Early & Often.

Chesters - actually, you are usually pretty much my hero but I didn't want to embarrass you by making that fact obvious.

Hi Den,

I think the distrust comes from the idea (conspiracy?) that pharmacutical companies are paying a great deal for top physicians to endorse their products. That being a broad statement. The research can't really be entirely independent can it?
