Can anyone tell me if Monk lake is back in business and if so how its fishing.

Yes it has been reopened since last October, there is a new entrance before you get to the nursery.

No idea how its fishing though, I plan to go in the near future.

Monk lakes has been transformed beyond your imagination.

I don't fish there myself (it's my closest "commercial" water), as it's not my cup of tea. But, I suggest you go there with an open mind and be prepared for a good day.

The owner deserves to do well.

I have fished a couple of matches at Monks lakes and had a good day catching carp, tench, skimmers, chub. weighing in over 50lbs.
