terry t shirt 19
Well my sea fishing season starts this thursday with my first outing at Aldeburgh for the year. I'm already debating the short walk groins with the stove to hand for bacon butties the moderate walk to the orange buoy (is it still there) or the heart attack to the wall. Anyone heard anything from the groins/buoy area ?. everytime i catch a fish i'm lucky when i blank i'm a hopeless angler.
terry t shirt 19
We picked up the bait from james at Framlingham with the intention of fishing Aldeburgh. To be told its become a tackle graveyard the area we intended to fish so opted for Thorpness instead. Arrived at about 9.30am to be greeted by a calm sea and n0t much happening This is fairly much how the entire daylight hours went with my mate rod getting a small flounder and a whiting and me getting some much needed zzzzzzzzzzzz's Come dusk i started fishing with a bit of enthusiasm and was rewarded with a small codling of about 1 1/2lbs (returned) this was really the highlight of the day had 5 pin whiting and loads of bites but nothing of any consequence. We packed up at 9.30 ish just before high tide. For the 3 hour drive home. One last note lost no gear to snags and no weed. will probably brave the tackle graveyard next time. everytime i catch a fish i'm lucky when i blank i'm a hopeless angler. Elton 171
The next set of big tides should, hopefully, be more productive.
